Bad News
I apologize for the lack of updates in the past couple weeks. Server bill is due and I don’t have the resources to pay it at the moment. I have been going in circles with a client that owes me quite a bit of money. The money was going to help pay for the server, he has not delivered. So the site has to suffer. I apologize. I am working on getting some sponsors going so we can have a little help here and there. I don’t know how long we’ll be down. I thought I would make a post so those that visit the site are not puzzled as to why the site is gone all of a sudden.
If you’d like to donate you can here. If you’d like to advertise please contact us via the contact form.

Good News
There are some new people on board that are going to start writing articles with me. Our content is about to get allot more diverse. I hope you are ready! I know I am. I will introduce you shortly.
Your eyes are not deceiving you. The post title is correct! We are back! One year later and just in time for the holidays. I am sure you will notice things are much different. We hope you enjoy the new site, allot of time and work has gone into getting the site up and running again. There are some minor changes that need to be made throughout the site, most everything is minor, so it can be changed as we go along.
I guess I should give everyone a rundown of what’s been going on and why it’s taken so long for the site to come back to life from it’s rough journey through cyber hell.
•1) Previous host screwed us over big time. We used to be hosted by VizaWeb. They are crooks and I do not want to plug their name, but I think you all should know about them and their crooked ways of doing business. Back in August / September of 07 we decided it was time to switch hosts because we had constant issues with VizaWeb. There were times where the servers would go offline multiple times per day without any notice or warning. Service was slow, they capped our bandwidth due to high traffic flow even though we were paying for a big pipeline. This caused the sites that we host to run extra slow. I cannot tell you how many e-mails I have received from loyal readers telling us when the server was down and how slow it was. The poor performance definitely had an impact on our readers. I know I haven’t posted anything in a while. So, here is an update. The portfolio has been updated a little bit. There are new thumbnails in the logo design and web-site design sections. I feel the new thumbnails represent the feel of this site better than the 100 X 75 pixel thumbnails did, it’s more aesthetically pleasing.
The illustration portion will soon be updated with fresh designs and it will receive the new thumbnails as well.
The mp3′s are finally up, you can click on any speaker icon to play the audio. New audio files will be added shortly. I’m working on getting fresh graphics up so it can replace some of the “filler” images I have in place right now. Some design resources will follow soon.
Stay tuned.

Image Resize is now Snow Leopard compatible.

Are you tired of having to fire up
Photoshop or any other image manipulation program just to resize a handful of images?
I was, so I decided to program a little application that would allow you to resize images on the fly! If you’ve had this same problem, this program is for you. You can download it for free by clicking download below.
Image Resize supports the most popular image formats. Jpg, Jpeg, PNG, Gif, Bmp, etc. You can also convert file types by changing the file extension when saving your image.
Screen shots!

The current version is 1.5 This version is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and 10.6 Snow Leopard. The application only weighs about 1 megabyte. Please download it and give it a try!

This program is only available for OS X version 10.5 Leopard and 10.6 Snow Leopard. The application might run on 10.4 Tiger on an Intel machine. I have not tested this on PPC or Tiger, so you are on your own.
Image Resize can only resize one image at a time. In the future I plan on allowing it to be able to accept folders and multiple files at once. These features are planned for the future. Please support the development by donating! I will do my best to keep this application updated on a regular basis.
Thanks. – ghostshadow
