Fighting Robots
July 1st, 2009 | by snowman |It seems that we are seeing robotics and transformers becoming more and more main stream. It is not like the days when transformers was originally popular and we were impressed by 2 or 3 manipulation point robotics. People are making free standing robotic creations in their backyard with 10’s if not 100’s points of manipulation. It makes me wonder how close we are from having movies as like Wall- E being true. Although the movie was fairly light hearted it had a very strong emotional under current that was very discontenting because I could very easily see a large portion of our population do something like that and not give it a second thought. Now back to the main point of this article is to take a look at how these complex robotics are maintaining their balance as well as carrying on a grudge match on what appears to be a white board. I must say that I am impressed by the performance here. Now take into account that this was uploaded to you tube a little over two years ago. Imagine what this company could do with investment and developing. Would love to see any lurkers or guests tell me what they think.
