iPhone OS 3.1 App Management Quicklook

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

Today Apple released iPhone OS 3.1 along side iTunes 9. One of the big new features of iTunes and OS 3.1 is iTunes application management. The user is now able to manage their iPhone / Touch applications in iTunes 9. Here is a quick video sample of the management UI in action.

So far the system works great. I haven’t found any issues as of yet. I just wish we had the option to hide unwanted pre-installed applications that we don’t use.

Apple Adds Matte Displays to 15” Unibody MacBook Pros

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

Picture 1

Apple decided to share the matte goodness with the 15-inch MacBook Pro unibody. Before today the anti-glare matte finish was only available on the 17-inch MacBook Pro.  The matte finish will cost you an extra $50 bones, to me it’s worth it.

I am finding it hard to resist a new unibody MacBook Pro now. My pre-unibody is still serving me well though, so I guess I shouldn’t jump on the uni right now. This is still good news to know, just in case that glossy finish was scaring you off. I know it scared me off!
