Craftsmanship at it’s finest. Words cannot describe how badly I want one of these. Pure titanium build, precision machined, perfectly balanced, and amazingly aesthetically pleasing. Did I mention you can spark it on the ground as well? You can do that with any titanium, but what sets the Sovereign apart from other titanium yoyos is the price. The One Drop Sovereign is estimated to go for $170 US. Some people might think that’s expensive, but for a titanium, that’s a VERY good price, an amazing feat actually. Most titaniums go from around $399 to $600 US. One Drop managed to make the Sovereign affordable.
That is one of the reasons why I love the company so much and the reason why I love the guys behind One Drop. They really bring back what yoyoing is supposed to be about. With their great attitudes, outlook on life and the hobby, the One Drop guys are just all around great people. The philosophy of the open company just strikes a chord with me. One Drop represents everything I believe in, in yoyoing. That’s why I am dedicated to them for the rest of my yoyoing career. I cannot describe in text how One Drop makes me feel. To me, they are what I have been wanting out of the community for the last 14 years that I have been throwing.
I hope to add the Sovereign to my collection. I know it’s going to be a blast to throw!
Mad love guys.

Well the last article I put up for this feature I had stated it was going to be weekly. I apologize for not following through but there wasn’t exactly a huge influx of setups. So today we have the gracious site builder’s setup in all its glory.

This setup is pretty much sweet simple and straight to the point. You can see a somewhat aged MBP what appears to be a Logitech g5 mouse and a Wacom Intuos3 tablet. Also a wrt54g running tomato, iTouch 2nd gen, & a PSP running custom firmware. By all means I must say this desk is fairly clean and straightened up. I will be the first to tell you I cleaned my work area for the first article and it wouldn’t surprise me if this desk has been cleaned up as well. That’s all for this week feel free to send any submissions with details to snowman@knoxware.org

Hoosiers for Beverage Choices, “HBC” has an on going campaign to modernize the Indiana alcohol laws for good. The goal of HBC is to update Indiana law to allow for:
•1) The carry-out sale of alcoholic beverages on Sundays.
•2) End the cold beer monopoly and allow the sale of cold beer at all licensed drug, grocery, and convenience stores.
If you would like to support the campaign you may sign the petition at : www.beveragechoices.com
While I am in favor of this campaign. I would LOVE to see more retailers carry REAL beer. We need to send a message to retail chains and tell them no more fizzy yellow beer! We want more microbrews! We want real craft beers! The good stuff! We need to stop the insanity. The general public thinks good beer is Coors light. This needs to change! I see this campaign as being a start in something beautiful.
Some retailers like; Kroger, Payless, and Meijer are getting more craft brews in stock. We need to encourage them to carry more like beers. Bookgopher and I took a trip to Grand Rapids Michigan last year. We took a gander at their Meijer for some supplies. They had a colossal wall of micro/ craft brews! I was in awe. They also allowed sales of alcohol after 10AM on Sundays!
Again, sign the petition. We would love to have a modern alcohol law in Indiana.
